INFINITI Was Voted No. 2 for Dealership Experience in the U.S.: What That Looks Like in Apex

Published August 2026 | Details confirmed as of August 4, 2026

On July 1, 2026, INFINITI announced that readers of Newsweek had voted the brand No. 2 in the Best Brand Dealership Experience category of the 2026 Newsweek Readers' Choice Awards. The recognition went to INFINITI nationally, not to any single store. For drivers in Apex, Cary and the Research Triangle, the useful question is what the brand's ownership program actually covers, and that is what this page sets out.

What Was Announced

A Second-Place Finish in a Reader Vote

INFINITI published the news from Nashville on July 1, 2026. In the announcement on the INFINITI USA newsroom, the brand confirmed it had been voted No. 2 in a category Newsweek calls Best Brand Dealership Experience. That is the proper name of the category, not a description of INFINITI's result. INFINITI placed second in it.

Two other items came out of the same Newsweek cycle. The all-new 2027 INFINITI QX65 was named to Newsweek's Most Anticipated New Vehicles of 2026 for the U.S. and Canada, and INFINITI noted separately that the QX60 had been named to the 2026 Cars.com American-Made Index.

"At INFINITI, we make every decision based on client satisfaction and long-term ownership value, and this recognition reflects the work happening across our retail network."

Eric Ledieu, vice president, INFINITI Americas

INFINITI's release also describes the brand as recognized by J.D. Power as a leading luxury brand for both Sales Satisfaction and Customer Satisfaction. That line is INFINITI's own characterization and the release does not name a study year or a region, so we are reporting it as something the brand says about itself rather than repeating it as a ranking of our own.

What It Actually Measures

How the Newsweek Readers' Choice Awards Work

It is worth understanding what this kind of award is before deciding how much weight to give it. Newsweek's editorial team selects the nominees in each category, with input from industry experts and contributors. Readers then vote. The result is a reputation signal from a large readership, not an audit of anybody's service records.

That distinction matters when you are choosing where to buy. A reader vote tells you how a brand is generally regarded across the country. It cannot tell you how a specific store handles a Tuesday morning service appointment. Only the store can show you that, which is the honest position for us to take on our own page.

The short version. A national brand placed second in a national reader vote. That is a genuine result and worth knowing. It is not a claim about this dealership, and we are not going to present it as one.

The Program

What INFINITI Lists Under the Total Ownership Experience

INFINITI groups its ownership programs under a name it calls the Total Ownership Experience. Below are the elements INFINITI listed in its own July 2026 release, described the way INFINITI describes them. Terms and eligibility are set by INFINITI, not by an individual retailer, so confirm the specifics for a particular vehicle before you count on them.

MyINFINITI Expert

An onboarding session with a personalized introduction and a virtual walkthrough of the vehicle. INFINITI limits it to buyers and lessees of a new 2027 INFINITI QX60, QX65 or QX80, once per eligible vehicle, and other restrictions apply.

INFINITI Premium Care

A maintenance program INFINITI describes as covering up to 3 oil changes and 3 tire rotations for 36 months or 22,500 miles, whichever comes first, included with a new 2026 or 2027 INFINITI purchased or leased from retailer stock. Other restrictions apply.

MyINFINITI App

Remote vehicle commands, vehicle health information and service scheduling from a phone. In practice this is the piece owners touch most often, because it is how a service appointment gets booked without a phone call.

24/7 Roadside Assistance

INFINITI lists round-the-clock roadside assistance among the Total Ownership Experience elements. Coverage terms are set by INFINITI, so check what applies to your specific vehicle and model year.

More detail on the maintenance side sits on our INFINITI Premium Care page, and service appointments here in Apex are booked through the online service scheduler.

Why It Matters Here

Why Apex and Research Triangle Buyers Shop on Service, Not Just Price

The market around this showroom is unusual, and it changes what buyers ask for. Apex, Cary and Morrisville sit at the western edge of the Research Triangle, and a large share of the households here are dual-income technical professionals working in Research Triangle Park or at the campuses scattered between here and Durham. People who negotiate contracts for a living tend to arrive having already read the specifications.

What that buyer usually cannot research from a desk is the part that happens after delivery. How long a loaner conversation takes. Whether a service appointment booked in an app actually holds. Whether the person who sold you the vehicle answers in month eighteen. Those are the questions we get asked on the showroom floor on Laura Duncan Road, more often than any question about a spec sheet.

Geography plays into it too. We sit just off US-64 on the west side of the Triangle, which means buyers coming from Cary on US-1, from Holly Springs and Morrisville on NC-55, or straight out of Research Triangle Park, reach us without crossing Raleigh. For a household deciding where to take a vehicle for the next several years, a service drive you can reach in fifteen minutes on the way to work is worth more than a national ranking.

The local version of the question. A brand placing second nationally does not tell a Cary buyer anything about a Wednesday oil change. Come stand in the service drive at 1900 Laura Duncan Rd and ask the advisors directly. That is a better test than any award.

Straight Talk

What This Recognition Does Not Mean

Dealer websites have a habit of turning a second-place finish into a banner. Here is the plain accounting of what this result is and is not, so nobody has to work it out from the marketing.

  • It is not a win

INFINITI placed No. 2. Nissan led the ballot in this category. Second is a strong showing in a national reader vote and it does not need to be inflated into something else.

  • It is not an award to this store

Newsweek readers voted on brands, not on individual retailers. Hanna INFINITI of Apex was not ranked, and neither was any other single dealership. We deliver the brand's program. We did not win the vote.

  • It is not a measurement of service quality

A reader vote records reputation. It does not inspect repair orders, measure wait times or track how often a first visit fixes the problem. Treat it as a signal, not as evidence.

  • It is not permanent

The Readers' Choice Awards run on a yearly cycle. This page reports the 2026 result and will be updated when the next one is published rather than left to quietly go out of date.

Questions

Questions About the 2026 Result

What exactly did INFINITI win?

INFINITI did not win. Newsweek readers voted INFINITI No. 2 in a category called Best Brand Dealership Experience, in the 2026 Newsweek Readers' Choice Awards. Second place in a reader vote is a real result and it is worth reporting accurately, which means not calling it a win.

Did Hanna INFINITI of Apex win an award?

No. The recognition went to INFINITI as a national brand, based on votes from Newsweek readers across the country. No individual retailer was ranked, including this one. What the result reflects is the ownership program INFINITI runs across its retail network, which we deliver here in Apex.

How were the rankings decided?

Newsweek's editorial team selected the nominees in each category, with input from industry experts and contributors, and readers then voted. It is a popularity vote among a publication's readership rather than an audit of service records, so read it as a reputation signal and not as a measurement of any one store.

What is the INFINITI Total Ownership Experience?

It is the name INFINITI gives to the group of ownership programs it runs alongside the vehicle itself. INFINITI lists MyINFINITI Expert onboarding, INFINITI Premium Care maintenance, the MyINFINITI App and 24 hour roadside assistance among its elements. Terms and eligibility are set by INFINITI, not by an individual retailer.

What does INFINITI Premium Care cover?

INFINITI describes it as a maintenance program providing up to 3 oil changes and 3 tire rotations for 36 months or 22,500 miles, whichever comes first, included with the purchase or lease of a new 2026 or 2027 INFINITI vehicle from retailer stock. Other restrictions apply. Confirm the exact terms for a specific vehicle with us before you buy.

Where can I see this in person near Raleigh or Cary?

At our showroom and service drive at 1900 Laura Duncan Rd in Apex, just off US-64. That is about 15 minutes from central Cary and roughly 20 minutes from most of Research Triangle Park. Call us at (855) 564-2290 or book service online and judge it for yourself.

Come Judge the Service Drive Yourself

No award settles what a dealership is like to own a vehicle through. Book a service appointment, walk the showroom on Laura Duncan Road, or call and ask the advisors a hard question.
